WELCOME TO THE 2016 TRAP SHOOT, PRESENTED BY PARR LUMBER
BENEFITTING HOME BUILDERS FOUNDATION
Home Builders Foundation (HBF) leverages the philanthropy of the residential home building industry to build and renovate shelters in the Portland metro area for those experiencing homelessness in our community. Since 2005, we've built or renovated 52 shelters, providing $1.7 million worth of donated labor and materials to house over 500 individuals annually in safe, dignified shelters.
Today, the HBF has four projects in process, worth nearly $2.5 million to address the severe shortage of shelter beds in our community. These projects will benefit Community of Hope, a shelter for homeless women and their children in North Portland; Clackamas Women's Service's Domestic Violence Shelter; New Meadows, a facility for at-risk youth exiting the foster care system throughout Oregon; and the Salvation Army Center for homeless veterans and their families in Beaverton.
The 2016 Home Builders Foundation Trap Shoot, presented by Parr
Lumber, will be held on Friday, September 16th at the Portland Gun Club. This award-winning event for the residential home building industry draws over 300 shooters every year for a fun day of exciting competition and unparalleled networking. Funds raised at this event directly benefit the Home Builders Foundation and its work in the community to provide safe, dignified shelter for those experiencing homelessness.
