Home
Builders Foundation (HBF) leverages the philanthropy of the residential
home building industry to build and renovate shelters in the Portland
metro area for those experiencing homelessness in our community. Since
2005, we've built or renovated 80,000 square feet of shelter space, providing over $5.6 million worth
of donated labor and materials to house over 550 individuals annually
in safe, dignified shelters.
The 2020 Home Builders Foundation Trap Shoot, presented by Parr
Lumber, has been reschedule for Friday, October 2nd at the
Portland Gun Club. This award-winning event for the residential home
building industry draws many shooters every year for a fun day of
exciting competition and unparalleled networking. Funds raised at this
event directly benefit the Home Builders Foundation and its work in the
community to provide safe, dignified shelter for those experiencing
homelessness.
The 2020 Trap Shoot is still on this year! We have just had to reschedule for October 2nd, 2020!
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 Trap Shoot will be going through some changes this year. To ensure the safety of our participants and to abide by the governor's orders, we are limiting the number of teams at this year's event. While all sponsors are GUARANTEED a team at the 2020 Trap Shoot, there will only be 13 available non-sponsor teams offered (more may be released in mid-August). We will also be adding safety precautions to this year's event including (but not limited to) mandatory face coverings, gloves to be worn by all volunteers and staff, additional hand washing stations around the event, boxed lunches, and more to ensure the health of everyone at the event.
